Research Summary

The major research efforts of our group are directed towards the total synthesis of biologically active natural products, and towards probing the mechanisms of the mode of action of such synthesis. Our target compounds have biologically activity, making them useful as leads for drug development. In order to achieve total syntheses, we have also extensively investigated new synthetic methodologies. Additionally, we are interested in synthetic methodologies for probe molecules which are essential for chemical biology studies . Our target natural products, probe molecules, and synthetic methodologies are described in below.
